If you want a little joy, watch this… (Explanation follows)

Amelia Anisovych was 7 yrs old when last March, 2022, she was filmed singing “Let It Go” — in Ukrainian — in a bomb shelter in Kyiv. (0:25 secs into the video)

The segment went viral — worldwide.

She and her mother escaped to Poland, where they live now. Shortly after arrival, Amelia sang the UKR national anthem at a fundraiser in Poland to a packed arena.

She has sung in other places, and appeared on various TV morning programs. She’s getting more relaxed, and turning unto a real charmer.

Her mother said they were not trying to groom her for performing. She just loves to sing — all day. She now has a singing coach, the blond woman in the above video.

Amelia recently sang at an annual show for the British National Lootery (Freudian typo!) at Wembly stadium.

After stating that she has seen “Frozen” “a million times”. (1:40) Amelia then got up and sang “Let It Go” in Ukrainian to the audience in the stadium (2:20).

Then comes the surprise. Amelia and her mother had just seen “Frozen (The Musical)” on the big stage in London. Now the play’s stars Elsa (Samantha Barks) and Anna (Stephanie McKeon) walk on stage, singing “Let It Go”. Amelia is besides herself with joy. (3:40)

They didn’t have to, but they rewrote lyrics, just for Amelia. “Vse odno. / Vse odno. / Show us what you can do. / Vse odno. / Vse odno. / The magic one is you.” were among those added in. “Vse odno” is the UKR equivalent for “Let it go”. Amelia understood they were singing for her. Cue more joy.
